never quite had a experience like this place. i live in huntsville al. 3 hour drive from the dealership. we called on a grey 2015 yukon with 8800 miles on it. the price was 46940.00. my wife loved it so we were willing to make the drive. we both took off work early to go look at it. the salesman Carl was very nice. we liked the truck and struck a deal at 46500.00 and they put some 20" wheels on it. (it had 18"). my wife and i signed the papers got ready to pay and out of nowhere the manager Chris came in and said "i talked to my boss and he said no deal. he want full price and you have to pay for the wheels which is about 2000 dollars," we looked at each other in shock and said no. we had already made the deal. we walked right out and left. 2 and a half hours later Chris text me and said his boss wants to make the deal. since we were almost back in Huntsville my wife sent back a text that said we would not be driving back for the truck because of their unprofessionalism. Chris apologized and said he would do the deal and deliver the truck to us.
I had a great experience with Carl Black in Hiram. I found the vehicle I wanted and it was really easy to work Hunter to get the vehicle price negotiated and my trade in value where I was happy.
Lastly, the accounting guy was incredibly unprofessional and seemed very untrustworthy.
Hunter was very professional, not too pushy, and truly wanted to make sure I was going to be happy with the deal. I was impressed with his knowledge of the vehicle and its features and my wife even commented that he was one of the most polite and respectful young man she had done business with in a while.
Just purchased my 2014 Silverado from them and I gotta call them by name Lance, Chris, and salesman John were excellent did everything to make the deal work and spent all day working on it. I left Friday without the vehicle already being approved called back Monday and they were great told me to come on down and see them the deal was still good. They brought the truck from their Roswell location for me. I will do business with them again without a doubt. Great business and great staff
My husband and I have purchased 2 vehicles from Carl Black in Hiram in the past 6 months, both times receiving superior service. This last time our salesman Hunter Robinson, was extremely knowledgeable and eager to make sure we were completely satisfied with our purchase. Not only did he thank us for purchasing our 2015 Toyota 4Runner, he has called on 3 different occasions just to follow up and make sure we are still 110% satisfied. We highly recommend going to see Hunter...he will make you feel welcomed too!
About a month later I found out my brake light wasn't flashing as they said it would. They did tell me they would install the relay, but I am having a hard time trusting them after this.
The next day my wife and talked about it and decided we would take the truck. We did love the truck and it had low miles. Chris told me he would send me pics of the new wheels on the truck and send all paperwork when delivered. a couple days go by with us waiting on the title. no pics. the day they are supposed to deliver it Chris sends me a text and told me that they couldn't find any wheels to fit my truck. (which we both knew was a lie because they tried to sell them to me.) by this time we just wanted the truck and i told them fine just deliver it. i went to my bank to send the money and sigh the contract they had sent. low and behold they had added an extra 499.00 for a brake light flasher. i once again called Chris and told him to PLEASE change the contract to its original version and lets get this over with. they did. BUT i would never recommend them to anybody. they are embarrassingly dishonest.
My dealer was professional, but everything else fell short. I was told all of their cars have this flashing light relay installed which they charge you $400 for (the relay is $5-20 online) which I argued that I didn't want, but they said it was already installed.
