Very nice. Great bed. Breakfast is a nice benefit as is the fridge and microwave in the room. Very clean and decor good. Reasonable price point.
The staff was nice. The building is out of date, but clean. The door handles are worn and in working order. I killed two spiders.
For this price point, I expected slightly better breakfast offerings and a more comfortable bed. Overall it was nice, clean, and spacious in both the room and bathroom. AC worked great, which helped us get a good night's sleep! We would stay here again if we needed a hotel in the area, but would probably plan to eat breakfast out.
I honestly wouldn't give this hotel even one star but I feel bad because it's someone's livelihood. Our room, which we paid for the upgraded king suite smelled of stagnant smoke and there was a dead spider under my pillow. Imagine trying to lay down after pulling back the covers and finding that. Luckily it was dead and I was exhausted. The staff upon check in acted as if we were bothering her. I wouldn't ever recommend this hotel to anyone. You can better and at a better price.
The staff was pleasant. The parking lot is small, so we had to park by the entrance, because 2 cars parked over the line and there weren't any parking spaces. I asked for late checkout, which the lady stated no problem. At 9am the housekeeper attempted come into the room without even knocking on the door. Again at 10 the housekeeper did the same thing. Mind you they told us we could check out at noon. At 11:30 there was a knock on the door, and it was the manager of housekeeping. I informed her that we were approved for late checkout at noon. She immediately apologized and said she wasn't informed. I then proceeded to tell her about the other lady and the manager stated she would handle the situation. I gave this place 3 stars only because the manager of housekeeping went above and beyond to make sure we were left alone while packing the rest of our items. The room was clean, but I would never stay here again, due to the stuffiness as you walk through the hallways and the elevator seem like it was going to breakdown at any minute.
